Studio-Zuid founded 1995 in Rotterdam. Specializes in restoring and optimizing old recordings, as well as recording the human voice and mixing sound.

Studio-Zuid is managed by Kees Tabink, from Rotterdam, The Netherlands. "My background includes 25 years as a sound engineer.
My vision of a sound engineer is “experimenting with sound”. Sound as a source of inspiration and sound as an object. Through my years of experience and a distinct interaction with sound I have found that vintage recordings, uniquely recreated, can sound surprisingly good. I see each distinctive transformation of a vintage recording as a new challenge and each copy represents a piece of art."

My motto is ”The world is sound” (by Joachim-Ernst-Berendt).
